Applicants for the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Scholarship 2023/24 are invited to apply for a scholarship to study at any German university offered by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation.

Highly qualified undergraduates, masters (MA), and doctoral students with a strong engagement in society, academia, and politics are eligible for the award.

The program welcomes applications from students and graduates of technical colleges specializing in scientific and technical disciplines.

Grants are also awarded to foreign students studying or conducting research in Germany temporarily.

Eligibility Criteria for Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Scholarships

Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Scholarship to Study in Germany 2023/24

• In addition to high academic achievement at school and/or university, applicants must demonstrate high scholarly and professional qualifications.
• In keeping with the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung’s objectives, political and social involvement is encouraged

Proficiency in German (B2 level or higher)

Rosa Luxemburg Scholars must demonstrate strong leadership ability and abide by the guidelines governing their conduct.

• A full-time course at a German university is required to be eligible for the scholarship.
