WAEC

WAEC (West African Examinations Council) is an international examining body that conducts the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). This examination is a mandatory requirement for entry into higher education in the West African countries of Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and The Gambia.

WAEC also conducts other examinations such as the General Certificate of Education (GCE) and other international examinations. WAEC is a non–profit organization that seeks to ensure that all students in the region receive a quality education. The organization works collaboratively with other educational bodies in the region to promote the quality of education and to improve educational standards.

WAEC also offers a variety of other services such as scholarship programs, workshops and seminars, and consultation services. WAEC is committed to providing quality education to students in the region and to helping them to achieve their potential.
